Summer '22

We are excited to announce a new opportunity that God has opened up for Gospel Passion Ministries.  We have a new ministry serving single mothers that are in need.  We are continuing to partner with the same church in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia for this ministry.  There have been many single mothers that come to the church for help because they can not support themselves and their children.  The church has a ministry called the Good Samaritan Group that is made possible through donations from church members that would help people that come with needs. The ministry was overwhelmed with the amount of single mothers coming, and so they decided to just start a day care to watch their children for them so that they could go get jobs. It grew into something that was not sustainable for this small church ministry. God opened the doors for us to come along side the church to help run this ministry. The Good Samaritan Group can now get back to helping people that come to the church with a variety of needs. 
This day care is 6 days a week.  The children are taken care of at the church campus. There is follow up with each of the mothers to make sure their situation both qualifies for being helped, but also have the ability to take care of their children.  This next month we are planning to take a trip to Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, and we will be able to assess the situation in more detail and know more about the needs to help this ministry thrive.
